Lisa Laing
Vocalist, Dancer and Storyteller
With many years of modern dance training, teaching and performance experience, Lisa Laing believes in the creative genius of the human spirit. Lisa currently teaches several classes weekly and leads retreats and workshops for those looking for the means to access that creativity. As a certified InterPlay leader, she offers Leadership training to others wishing to become certified. Lisa shares the InterPlay forms and dance improvisation with women in prison, school age children, hospice caregivers, recovery support groups, various church groups and social workers in clinical environments. She is presently coordinating several week-long retreats exploring issues of social justice, ecology, spirituality and the arts, especially storytelling and movement. Lisa's motto: "Everyone should dance out loud."
